Seven Jewish centres and synagogues in Montreal region are opening doors

It'll take a tonne of potatoes, 300 kilograms of carrots, 10 cases of cabbage, 2,200
chicken legs and 300 salmon fillets to feed the hungry this Passover.
Citing tough economic times, seven Jewish centres and synagogues in
the Mont-real region are opening their doors to the underprivileged and
offering free communal seders for Passover....

Synaguogue spearheads seders for less fortunate

Some 3,000 passover seder meals will be served next wednesday April 8 and
thursday April 9 at several Montreal-area synagogue to the Jewish community's
less fortunate, thanks to an initiative by Rabbi Reuben Poupko of cote st. luc's
Beth Israel Beth Aaron Synagogue the MADA Community Center and
generous donors....
