MADA Community Center,
the largest kosher soup kitchen and food bank in Quebec is
strategically located in the heart of Montreal’s Jewish community. It
provides the community with many social and
crisis services free of charge, as well as serving as a safe haven for
those in need. Since 1993 the MADA Community Center has been operating
as a non profit
charitable organization, at 6700 Cote de Neiges. We are a volunteer
based organization that evolved from a small neighbourhood center to
Montreal’s central address for fighting poverty in our community.

Throughout
2009, we’ve heard statements like the one above. Therefore as we serve
more people in the years ahead, we will increase our efforts to
maintain and improve our services without neglecting the emotional
state of the patrons.
OUR
MISSION
MADA’s mission is
to help people in need with the basic necessities of life while
preserving their dignity and helping them become self sufficient

The
more we are in contact with the needy in our community, the more we
witness their vulnerability to a variety of problems. This strengthens
our resolve to continue our work. People need help. Together we can
address their needs – now and in the future. Thank you for supporting
these very important causes, to feed, clothes,
supply furnishings and help the needy in our community.
