MADA
Community Center, the largest kosher soup kitchen and food bank in
Quebec is strategically located in the heart of Montreal’s community.
It provides the community with many social and crisis services and
basic necessities to those in need.
Since 1993 the MADA Community Center has been operating as a non profit
charitable organization, MADA is Montreal’s central address for
fighting poverty in our community and often serves as a safe haven for
those in need.
All of MADA’s services are free of charge. We therefore rely on public
support to maintain our services. Your support during these challenging
times is more urgent than ever. How can you help the most?
“I
never thought I would need help to feed my family.” It’s embarrassing
to admit that I cannot afford the basic necessities.”
Setbacks should not have to result in hunger and poverty. At times
people need a helping hand. That is why in 2008, MADA distributed 5
million pounds of food – an increase of 150 % from the year before.
Over the last years, we have also increased our distribution of
clothing and household furnishings to supply the soaring demand.

These pages were set up a few days ago, and you can find all the
important things related to our cause there, so if you're interested in
interacting through a different medium, I highly recommend checking it
out and becoming a fan and joining the Mada Community
Center cause.
